Rusty Bike Wines is a small boutique producer located at Houghton in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.
The name “Rusty Bike” comes from the old bike sitting in our cottage garden leaning against the fence….how that bike found its way into our back yard, well that’s another story!
And so Rusty Bike Wines was born.
The aim is to produce distinctive, individually hand crafted wines of exceptional quality for you to enjoy. Grapes are sourced from various premium vineyards located throughout the Adelaide Hills and other wine regions. All our wines are produced from single vineyards and are ultimately a reflection of the true terroir of the vineyards.
The winemaking process is traditional. The grapes are handpicked, fermented in small batches, basket pressed and followed by slow maturation in quality oak.
Our Ciders are all about orchard to bottle. We use 100% fresh Adelaide Hills Apples apples which are are juiced, fermented and bottled.
The fruit ciders are made with 100% real natural fruit to give them their distinctive flavours.
All our ciders are naturally Coeliac and Vegan friendly.
